We cordially invite you to attend and participate in the 2nd Heidelberg Deformity-Day – International Congress for the Correction of Complex Foot-Deformities – to be held in Heidelberg, Germany on September 18th-19th, 2009.
After the 1st D-Day we had a great feedback on the concept and content of the congress. Most of the entire faculty decided without hesitation to confirm their participation in this years meeting. This was a strong motivation for us to compose an amazing and exciting programme again.
The 2nd D-Day focuses on two main-topics: Posttraumatic and Neuropathic Foot-Deformities and will include major aspects of diagnosis and correction of all degrees and ages.
We assembled a star-studded programme with specialists from all over the world. This will provide an enormous platform for the presentation and discussion of the most recent advances in foot-deformity- correction and will set the stage for future accomplishments.
Our motto: Give and take! We can all learn from each other to improve our skills in dealing with the big problems in foot-surgery. The intent of this congress is to bring together the expertise of skilled practitioners from diff erent countries. We promise you a very fascinating, international and interactive programme including livesurgeries, live-patients, workshops, panel-discussions, audienceresponse- sessions, speciality-panels etc.
Our current understanding of the development and correctionstrategies shall be comparatively analysed. Particularly the panels will provide the opportunity to discuss the validity of different concepts on the basis of various cases.
